I’m always a little wary of putting these pieces out there when I’m asking for film recommendations, but the reaction to the first By The Decade piece has been really brilliant.

Inspired by the reaction to my ‘Give It A Go’ Quick Read, and running with the #ByTheDecade tag on Twitter, I’m basically looking for films you’d suggest to anyone who wasn’t overly familiar with cinema from a specific decade, starting this week with #3FromThe30s.
